How to download Facebook videos on Android

Considering Facebook as the largest social network on the WWW platform, and Android as the latest craze among Mobile users, it’s too common to see Android users accessing their Facebook profiles on their handsets only. Of course, Android is one of the powerful mobile operating systems that allows users to do quite a handful of stuffs so conveniently. And few other stuffs can be easily achieved by using some tweaks.
If you have got an Android handset and an active user of Facebook, you must have wondered about ways to download Facebook videos that appears on your wall and you instantly start liking it. For downloading Facebook videos on Android, there are few pre-requisite and before telling those, let me tell you there are two ways for downloading Facebook videos:
1. Using Facebook Application (Inefficient Way)
2. Using Facebook on inbuilt (chrome) browser of android
The pre-requisite are:

• Download and install Opera Mobile
• Download any other video player like QQ player or MX Video player

Ok, so before starting, go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Select ALL tab above > Internet > Clear Defaults

 

And same thing you’ll need to do for Video Player too like Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Select ALL tab above > Video Player > Clear Defaults.
So now its time to download Facebook videos on Android handsets.
Step 1:
Open Facebook Application, look for any Facebook video you or any1 shared.


Click on it, it would show you option to play using any video player and Opera Mobile.

 

Click on Opera Mobile and your video will start downloading straight away.

 

But i personally don’t like this way (downloading video from Opera mobile), since if you experience any disturbance in Internet connection, video download doesn’t get resumed. And opera downloader is very bad downloading things.
Step 2:
Open inbuilt (chrome) browser of Android, open Facebook and search for any Facebook video which you want to download. Click on it and it will show you option of opening videos via installed browsers.

 

In my case i had installed Opera Mini & Opera Mobile both. Choose Internet and then again it would show you option to Choose via Android System or Internet (Insert screenshot 7).

Again choose Internet and this time the video will start downloading right away.

 

The major benefit of using inbuilt browser is that it can resume downloading automatically if you internet connection face any disturbance.
