Galaxy_S Unlock : Sim unlock Galaxy S Free Android App

Monday, August 20, 2012

Download it From Google Play For Free

This app unlock by "patch" nv_data files.
All files are backuped at step 1.

Don't use on old Docomo phones, they don't have the same nv_data.Don't use on 4G, nv_data is not in the same folder.

For AT&T phones, change your kernel if you have any problem in step 1.
If you don't have any code for sim unlock, if SGS Unlock Tool don't send codes, this apk is made for you !!!
Need: Root + Busybox

Works for new galaxy s2, ICS version 4.0.3. Make sure your phone is rooted (when choosing kernel to flash, out of the many available, choose the one that matches the PDA code in your phone info. I.e. for mine i had version lpd, so i Googled xxlpd/xwlpd root sgs 2. Follow instructions on good tutorial. Busy box.should.be.opened once downloaded and installed from within the app.

This tutorial is based on software helroz for the Galaxy S, it also works for the Samsung S2 Galaxy and Galaxy Rating.

Tutorial:

1.Prerequisites

- Your Galaxy S2 must be root (tutorial here)
- It is best to run the tutorial without sim card in your phone.

2.Handling

- Download busybox 1.17.1 install (LINK)

- Install via the market Galaxy_S unlock (LINK)

- Unzip the 2 and copy the apk on your phone.

- Install Busybox 1.17.1.apk via your file explorer (my files are exploring, etc ...)
you now have the application installed busybox is installed on your phone.

- Launch it and allow root access

- Select install, therefore the display, you can exit the application

- Start Galaxy_S Unlock, allow root access and select Unlock

select "Step 1 a backup file"

- Validate ok

- Your EFS folder (which contains important information about the capacity of your phone to run on carrier networks) is saved.

-Select "2 Step 2 bytes for lock-exchange unlock" and click ok

Your phone screen, which goes out, things appear a bit odd, Screen will off and eventually restart.

It'll just turn it off, insert the correct sim card, turn it back on, type the PIN code and enjoy your unlocked phone.

Step 3.

recreate the files. nv_data.bak md5 and I am forced to delete on reboot.

These files are used in cases of "clear efs" odin in order not to lose its imei.

they provide a more permanent desimlockage and a "cleaner" was originally facing.

- Restart the app, unlock, and select view "step 3 (after reboot) these are file system, not backup"
